A 29,000 square foot, two level addition incorporates new space for physical therapy, sub-specialty clinics, admitting and business office functions, emergency room facilities and a drive-through ambulance garage, a laboratory, a meeting/education center, as well as mechanical and shelled space on the lower level to accommodate future growth.

Renovated areas of the existing Hospital include patient care rooms, postpartum rooms, labor/delivery and recovery areas, radiology, pharmacy, home health, dietary, cardiac rehabilitation as well as extended care space.  The project also includes an 8,000 square foot attached Medical Clinic, which was designed to accommodate ten physicians.

Additional investment for the Hospital, included upgrade of the existing hospital building envelope, HVAC and electrical services, replacing windows to match the addition, hot water and steam boiler replacement, upgrading obsolete air handling units, several lighting systems, expansion of the Hospital’s direct digital control system, and installing a new, larger emergency generator.
