Following a competitive interview process, Prochaska & Associates was selected to implement Phase One of a two-phase Master Plan to upgrade this rural Nebraska health care facility, managed by Alegent Health of Omaha.

Project goals included the creation of a new single Inpatient/Outpatient/Clinic entrance and lobby, an expanded and easily accessible Emergency Department with ambulance garage, increased outpatient capacity, a renovation of the Imaging Department to include a CT Scan, an upgrade of aging mechanical and electrical systems, and a renovated seven bed acute care suite with state-of-the-art private patient rooms.

The project team worked closely with Hospital staff and Alegent management to develop a project phasing plan that would minimize disruptions to patients and staff during fourteen months of construction.
