For fourteen (14) years, Prochaska & Associates participated in an annual event called “Sand in the City”, a fundraising effort for the Nebraska Children’s Home Society.  The full-day event is a contest which pairs local businesses with Architects and Designers to design and build massive sand sculptures which are judged and awarded prizes at the end.  The goal is to attract visitors who also pay to vote for their favorite sculptures.  Prochaska & Associates lends their creative talents as well as drawing skills to help transform the team’s ideas and sculptural designs into reality.  The event attracts about 15 to 20 teams annually, so the competition is very difficult.  We are proud to say that our teams have been awarded first place three times!
